“TEACH US” Historic Pittsburgh - Atlanta, Georgia

On Sunday, November 1st, we visited approximately 6 locations in the Historic Pittsburgh Community and discussed events like the 1902 and 1906 race riots, the rise and fall of the neighborhood along with crime problems that followed and have persisted. We will also highlighted recent incidents in the neighborhood that took place at 1029 (an infamous location that made national headlines) and provided examples of current plans to revitalize the neighborhood with the new Pittsburgh Yards Project.
